Chodzi o zajmowane miejsce. Jeśli wkleisz długi kod, to pojawi się pasek przewijania. Druga rzecz, to chodzi również o uniknięcie przypadkowych znaczników formatowamia, które mogą "zepsuć" post.
Znaczniki formatowania? Przy wklejeniu w widoku źródła nic takiego nie ma, a przy wklejeniu ewentualne zmiany widać.

Jeśli chcecie w bloku, jest blok "cytat". W monospace, i jeszcze z takim kontrastem, bardzo źle się czyta. Już lepiej link dać.
Mogą się zdarzyć w innych changelogach, a zachowanie stylu to podstawa przejrzystości.
